Minister Kathy Dunderdale

Following her election to the House of Assembly in 2003, Minister Dunderdale served as Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and Minister Responsible for the Rural Secretariat and later as Minister of Natural Resources. In 2008, Minister Dunderdale was appointed Deputy Premier, Minister of Natural Resources, Minister Responsible for the Forestry and Agrifoods Agency and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women.
In both work and volunteer roles, Kathy Dunderdale has exhibited an ongoing commitment to women’s issues, anti-violence and rural development in our province.

Jason Grumet
Executive Director of National Commission on Energy Policy; Top Advisor on Energy and Environment for Obama Campaign
Jason Grumet was appointed Executive Director of the National Commission on Energy Policy in January 2002. In this capacity, Jason helped design the organization, recruit Commission members and open the Commission’s office in Washington D.C. Grumet began advising Senator Barack Obama on energy issues in 2005. He was the Chair of the Energy and Environmental Policy Group for Obama's 2008 Presidential Campaign, and was considered for a top-level post in the Obama Administration. Grumet is a former national collegiate debate champion, appears in the media (CNN, Wall Street Journal) and is a frequent witness at Congressional hearings.

Mark Carney

Appointed in 2008 for a seven-year term, Governor of the Bank of Canada, Mark Carney is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). Prior to joining the public service, Mr. Carney had a thirteen-year career with Goldman Sachs in its London, Tokyo, New York, and Toronto offices. His progressively senior positions included Co-Head of Sovereign Risk; Executive Director, Emerging Debt Capital Markets; and Managing Director, Investment Banking.

Allan also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Energy Policy Institute of Canada and was named one of Canada's most influential business leaders in Canadian Business Magazine.
